Privacy Policy of [VESSEL Update]

1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

The Organizer processes personal information for the following purposes:
- Managing Symposium registration, attendee identification, payment processing via Eximbay, and issuing certificates of attendance.
- Reporting and managing KMA CME credits for eligible registrants.

2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

- Required Items: Full Name, Affiliation, Department/Position, E-mail Address, Mobile Number, Payment Information.
- Optional Items (Required for CME Credits): Medical License Number, KMA Member ID.
- Automatically Collected Items: IP Address, Cookies, Log Data, and Barcode/RFID tracking records at the venue.

3. Processing of Unique Identification Information

With the consent of the registrant, the Organizer collects the Medical License Number to report CME credits to the Korean Medical Association (KMA). This information will not be used for any other purpose.

4. Third-Party Provision of Personal Information

The Organizer provides personal information to third parties as follows for CME credit accreditation:
- Recipient: Korean Medical Association (KMA)
- Purpose: Accreditation and registration of KMA CME credits
- Items Provided: Name, Medical License Number, and check-in/out time records
- Retention Period: In accordance with KMA credit management policies.

5. Outsourcing and Overseas Transfer of Data (Eximbay)

To provide electronic payment services, personal information processing is delegated as follows. For international card payments, data is transferred overseas via global payment networks.
- Delegatee: Eximbay Co., Ltd.
- Description of Delegated Work: Credit card payment gateway services, transaction authentication, refund processing, and fraud prevention.
- Retention Period: Until the completion of the transaction or as required by applicable laws.

6. Retention and Destruction of Data

Personal data will be retained for [1 Year] after the conclusion of the Symposium for follow-up support. Transaction logs will be retained for 5 years as required by the Electronic Commerce Act.
