Terms of Service for [VESSEL Update] Pre-registration

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Service is to define the conditions, procedures, rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the organizer, [The Korean Society for Vascular Surgery] (hereinafter "Organizer"), and the registrant regarding the online pre-registration system (hereinafter "Site") for [VESSEL Update] (hereinafter "Symposium").

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. "Pre-registration Service" refers to the online application and registration fee payment service that grants participants entry rights prior to the commencement of the Symposium.
2. "Registrant" refers to an individual who accesses the Site, agrees to these Terms, and completes the registration by paying the designated fee.

Article 3 (Registration and Medical License Information)

1. Registration is successfully finalized once the registrant completes the online application form and settles the payment within the designated period.
2. Registrants who wish to receive continuing medical education (CME) credits from the Korean Medical Association (KMA) must accurately provide their Full Name and Medical License Number during registration.
3. The registrant shall bear sole responsibility for any omission or error in their license information that leads to credit omission; the Organizer shall not be held liable under any circumstances.

Article 4 (Korean Medical Association (KMA) Credit Regulations)

1. CME credits for this Symposium will be awarded strictly in compliance with the guidelines set forth by the Korean Medical Association (KMA).
2. To receive credit verification, registrants must record their exact check-in and check-out times at the venue on the day of the event using the barcode (or RFID) scanning system provided by the Organizer (minimum of 2 tags per day).
3. Failure to fulfill the minimum required stay duration, missing attendance logs, or engaging in fraudulent actions (such as proxy tagging) will result in the immediate denial or revocation of credits.

Article 5 (Payment and Currency)

1. Payments can be settled via credit cards, bank transfers, or international payment gateway providers (Eximbay) officially designated by the Organizer.
2. For transactions settled via foreign credit cards, charges will be processed in [KRW or USD]. Due to fluctuations in foreign exchange rates and individual card issuer policies, the final billed amount in your local currency may vary. The Organizer is not liable for any discrepancies resulting from currency conversion rates.

Article 6 (Cancellation and Refund Policy)

1. Due to upfront administrative costs and preparations, the following cancellation fee schedule applies:
    - Cancellation on or before Registration Deadline Date: 100% Full Refund
    - Cancellation from the day after the deadline until 1 days prior to the event: Refund minus a [50%] cancellation fee
    - Cancellation within the event or No-Show on the event day: Non-refundable
2. Refunds for international card payments processed through Eximbay are governed by the respective credit card company's terms and conditions. Please note that it may take approximately 7 to 14 business days (or more) for the refunded amount to appear on your statement depending on the card issuer.
3. Any foreign exchange losses (shortfalls caused by exchange rate fluctuations) or international transaction fees charged by your card provider upon cancellation shall be borne entirely by the registrant and will not be refunded by the Organizer.

Article 7 (Certificates and Receipts)

1. The Organizer will issue an official payment receipt or billing confirmation upon verifying the completion of the registration fee payment.
2. Certificates of Attendance will be issued exclusively to registrants whose physical attendance at the venue is explicitly verified on the day of the Symposium.

Article 8 (Program and Speaker Alterations)

The Symposium program, schedule, sessions, and individual speakers are subject to change without prior notice due to speaker availability or unforeseen scheduling changes. The Organizer shall not offer refunds or financial compensation for such alterations.

Article 9 (Copyright and Recording Restrictions)

1. All academic materials, lecture videos, and slide presentations displayed or distributed at the venue are protected under copyright laws belonging to the speakers and the Organizer.
2. Registrants are strictly prohibited from audio-recording, video-recording, or photographing any session without prior written consent from the Organizer. Unauthorized distribution or broadcast of such materials is subject to legal prosecution.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any legal disputes arising out of or related to these services shall be brought before the competent court having jurisdiction over the registered location of the Organizer.
